VLT wants clergy and religious to focus on their vocation of answering the call of the Lord Jesus Christ to lay down their lives for the glory of God and the salvation of souls.
Clergy and religious receive little, if any, formation in administering dioceses, parishes, colleges, schools, and ministries. Nonetheless, shortly after ordination and vows these same people find themselves managing multi-million-dollar operations. Inevitably, these institutions face the need for financial resources by taking out loans or attempting a capital campaign. VLT seeks to offer clergy and religious a third way with a faith-aligned partner that accompanies them in the work of furthering the Christ-Centered mission.

As a mission-aligned partner, we hope that each Church institution endures until Christ comes again.
We want the Church institution to continue the work of its mission. If the Church institutions wish to purchase the land back from VLT, the Ground Lease can contain a formula for that.
